This song was recorded for my "It's Just Me" CD. It is an arrangement of a Chopin Prelude that is a bit different than the original to say the least. It was arranged and recorded on a Sunday afternoon in about 3 hours.

Who in the world is Jeb Chops?
Jeb Chops is a fictional character that I created many years ago. The name is derived from Jeb Stuart, the famous cavalryman of the Civil War, and "Chopsticks," one of the first little musical pieces that a person usually plunks out on a piano. With this idea, I wrote a piece a poem entitled "The Ballad of Jeb Chops."A musical piece of the same title followed later. I have used "Jeb Chops" as my pen name ever since. |
